Riverworks’ Social Enterprises are meant to be profitable using commerce as tool to maximize sustainability and impact. Revenue earned will be reinvested back into the organization to assist in carrying-out its social mission. A successful social enterprise is one that balances the tension between upholding the social mission of organization and maximizing the productivity of the business venture to ensure sustainability.
