The Anti-Displacement Fund was established by MKE United in 2019 to provide grants to help ensure that long-time, income eligible homeowners living in near downtown neighborhoods are not displaced due to increasing property taxes associated with rising property values and new development. Eligibility includes:

 

• Owning and living in a property in eligible area

• Have owned property since January 1, 2015

• Must be current on real estate taxes

• Not be subject to foreclosure

• Annual household income must be equal or below limit

 

If you meet edibility requirements and your application is approved, the program will make a tax payment on your behalf in the amount that is the difference between your current tax bill and previous one.
