Business Spotlight - November 2020
With everything going on around us, it is important to stand strong - as individuals and as a community! Check out some of our local businesses below, and consider supporting them if you are able. We must be flexible and creative as we find ways to adapt to a "new normal," and the following businesses are testament to the strength and resiliency in our community. Stay safe, stay well, and let's get through this together.
Dust Busters Cleaning Services, LLC
Damon Washington, a serial entrepreneur, started Dust Busters Cleaning Services, LLC with his young sons Deondre and Damon Jr. Deondre is the CEO and Damon Sr. is the manager. Damon Jr. assists with various cleaning projects. Damon's intentions and goals are to teach his sons about entrepreneurship, business, and to create generational wealth. His son, Deondre, is on the Dean's List at MATC studying Dental Hygiene and is working to enter Marquette University's School of Dentistry. Damon is confident about their up-and-coming business and is working to grow it to leave a legacy for his sons.
They are bonded, insured, and started their own business because they wanted to be self-sufficient and not reliant on any stimulus or unemployment checks. Their focus is on commercial, industrial, schools and universities, houses of worship, and residential cleaning projects. They currently have a few commercial contracts: several restaurants and a large office space. One of the special cleaning techniques that they employ is the use of an electrostatic disinfectant sprayer to effectively & efficiently clean all surfaces (including those that are hard to reach) and to comprehensively remove germs and dirt.
