Update Regarding COVID 19 #1

Steps Taken to Help Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus)

Dear community partners,

In light of global attention on the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and the declaration of a public health emergency in the state of Wisconsin on Thursday, Riverworks is adhering to recommendations and cancelling all public events until further notice. We will contact you separately by phone or by email to provide you the status of the meetings in-person or by another method. It is our hope that we will find the best ways for us to continue our work in changing people lives and continue the great work we are doing together to support our collective well-being and protect our most vulnerable residents.

We will be sure to stay in communication and let you know when our activities and meetings are back to normal.

For now, take care of yourselves and one another, check out the helpful links below, and stay well!

Together, we can make sure everyone in our community has what they need.

Riverworks staff will be working limited hours in the office; we can still reach any of us at the emails or phone numbers listed on our website. If you have questions about our programs and resources or business support, please contact us. We will keep you updated as we work though this challenging time for all of us.

Sincerely Yours

Darryl Johnson

Executive Director
