The Beerline Trail is open daily, with COVID-related measures in place. These measures, such as reduced capacity and asking visitors to wear a mask or face covering, help ensure an improved and safer visitor and employee experience.

Docent-led public tours are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Saturdays from May to October.

The Beerline Trail is a public park built on a historic freight rail line through Milwaukee's North East Side. Save from private development by local nonprofits and community groups, the Beerline Trail opened in 2008 as a public space where visitors experience nature, art and design.

Friends of the Beerline Trail raised nearly 100% of the Beerline Trail 's annual budget.

Owned by the City of Milwaukee, the Beerline Trial is a public park, programmed, maintained, and operated by Riverworks Development Corporation, in partnership with the Friends of the Beerline Trail and the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works.
