As the Director of Workforce Development, Vanessa is responsible for RDC’s Office, Computer and Customer Service, Entry-Level Manufacturing Skills and Welding, Machining and Press Operation training programs. She created a unique program called “Stepping Stones” that focuses on providing much needed life-skills training to neighborhood residents. This program is included in all RDC training programs. Once trained, residents receive placement assistance from Vanessa to secure employment.
