Programs

RDC, a leader in the economic revitalization of the Riverworks Center area, serves as a catalyst for initiating redevelopment efforts and positively impacting area businesses and neighborhood residents. The diverse range of programs we manage together with key partnerships we have established allow us to take a comprehensive approach in our efforts to increase community prosperity.

Through our focus on real estate marketing and development and providing technical assistance to small businesses, RDC strives to revitalize the area by attracting new firms and retaining those currently here.

RDC's focus on workforce development through job training and placement helps residents move into career-oriented jobs and benefits Riverworks and Milwaukee businesses with a trained and skilled workforce.

Finally, the new Center for Family Prosperity takes our job service offerings to a new level, offering the Riverworks area and Milwaukee residents financial counseling and asset-building training so that the wages they earn will go further for their families.

Riverworks Partnerships

RDC pursues economic development though partnerships with other community and regional development initiatives. RDC administers Riverworks Business Improvement Districts #25 and #36 which exist to serve the interests of local businesses, and we also collaborate with many public and private groups to achieve our strategic goals for this area.
