Business and Property Owner Assistance

• Façade Grant Program – The BID will finance 40% of a project’s cost up to $3,000 for improvements made to the exterior of a building or to property (Click here for form – print and fax this form to 414.906.9646). If you have questions on the type of work that is eligible for a grant, please contact Chris Grandt at 414.906.9650.
• Fencing Improvement Project – This project is designed to provide the look of consistency and further enhance the appearance of the area. The BID paints any chain link fence in the area black to provide a more cohesive appearance.
• Safety and Security Grant Program - The BID will cover 40% of the total cost of a project up to $3,000 for one or a combination of the following: security cameras, exterior lighting, and security assessments. Marketing and Promotions

• Promote the Riverworks Center area as a first class designation for shopper, business owners and real estate developers.
• Holiday decorations and banners are hung to change the physical conditions of the area.
• Riverworks BIDs issue a quarterly newsletter.

Public Safety & Appearance

• Graffiti Removal – If you own or lease space in the area and you have problems with graffiti, call Graffiti Busters and we will have it removed. The BID removes graffiti from Riverworks Center buildings. (click here for graffiti removal form – print and fax this form to 414.906.9646).
• Riverworks Development Corporation’s Public Service Ambassadors street sweep and canvass the area once a week to keep it clean and neat.
• Riverworks Development Corporation staff in partnership with the Milwaukee Police Department will provide personalized safety and security assistance to your business.
